NETRAKONA, Nov 30, 2024 (BSS) - A day-long free eye camp was held on the premises of Kalmakanda Government Pilot High School in Kalmakanda upazila of the district today.

BNP Law Affairs Secretary and Secretary General of Jatiyatabadi Ainjibi Forum Barrister Kaisar Kamal in cooperation with DR. K Jaman BNSB Eye Hospital, Mymensingh, organized the eye camp.

Speaking at the function Barrister Kaisar Kamal said the eye camp was designed at the directives of the Acting Chairman of Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) Tarique Rahman to provide eye treatment to the poverty-stricken rural people.

A team of 30 eye specialists at the BNSB Eye Hospital provided eye treatment, medicines and spectacles to 4,000 patients.
