RANGPUR, Oct 13, 2021 (BSS) – With the inoculation of 21,504 more citizens with the first dose of the Covid-19 jab today, the number of first dose recipient citizens of Covid-19 vaccine rose to 42,64, 116  in Rangpur division.  

“Among the 21,504 new first dose recipient citizens, 20,360 were inoculated with Sinopharm Covid-19 vaccine and 1,144 others with AstraZeneca Covid-19 vaccine today,”  Divisional Director (Health) Dr Md Motaharul Islam told BSS at 6:35 pm.

The total first dose recipient 42,64,116 citizens include - 11,68,435 people vaccinated with AstraZeneca Covid-19 jab, 29,63,832 with Sinopharm Covid-19 jab and 1,31,849 others with Moderna Covid-19 vaccine.
 
Meanwhile, the number of the second dose of Covid-19 vaccine recipient citizens rose to 18,45,656 with the inoculation of 7,551more people today in the division.

Among the 7,551 new second dose recipient citizens, six were inoculated with AstraZeneca Covid-19 vaccine and 7,545 others with Sinopharm Covid-19 vaccine.

“The total second dose recipient 18,45,656 citizens include 5,41,719 people vaccinated with AstraZeneca Covid-19 jab, 11,79,978 people with Sinopharm Covid-19 jab and 1,23,959 others with Moderna Covid-19 vaccine in the division,” Dr Islam added.
