RANGPUR, Sept 23, 2021 (BSS) - The total number of the first dose recipient citizens of Covid-19 vaccine rose to 27,25,394 so far with the inoculation of 50,650 more citizens with the first dose of the jab today in Rangpur division.

  "Among the 50,650 new first dose recipient citizens, 20,092 were inoculated with the Sinopharm Covid-19 vaccine and 30,558 citizens with the AstraZeneca Covid-19 vaccine today," Divisional Director (Health) Dr Md Motaharul Islam told BSS at 8:40 pm.

  The first dose recipient 27,25,394 citizens include 9,41,187 people vaccinated with the AstraZeneca Covid-19 jab, 16,53,297 people with the Sinopharm Covid-19 jab and 1,30,910 others with the Moderna Covid-19 vaccine.

  Meanwhile, the number of the second dose of the Covid-19 vaccine recipient citizens rose to 15,96,927 with inoculation of more 25,210 people with the second dose of the jab today in the division.

  Among the 25,210 new second dose recipient citizens, 312 were inoculated with the Moderna Covid-19 vaccine, 219 citizens with AstraZeneca Covid-19 vaccine and 24,679 others with Sinopharm Covid-19 vaccine today.

  "The total second dose recipient 15,96,927 citizens include 5,38,999 people vaccinated with the AstraZeneca Covid-19 jab, 9,36,187 people with the Sinopharm Covid-19 jab and 1,21,741 others with the Moderna Covid-19 vaccine in the division," Dr Islam said.
