CHAPAINAWABGANJ, Sept 23, 2021 (BSS) - Rapid Action Battalion (RAB)
arrested an alleged drug peddler with 2 kg of heroin from Shibganj in
Chapainawabganj district last night.

  The arrested person is Md. Matiur Rahman, 45 of Baliadighi Colonypara
village under Shahbajpur union of Shibganj upazila in Chapainawabganj
district.

  RAB said, acting on a tip off, an operation team of RAB-5 from
Chapainawabganj camp conducted a raid at Motibazar under Lakkhipur Kalinagar
village in Mobarakpur union of Shibganj upazila in the district at 9-30 pm
and arrested Matiur with the heroin.

  Later the arrested person was handed over to the police of Shibganj thana
with a case.
