BHOLA, Sept 22, 2021 (BSS) - Police in a drive arrested six gamblers
from Rajapur union under Sadar upazila here last night.

     The arrested were identified as Md. Liton, 31, Nurul Islam, 32, Yusuf,
28, Amjad, 30, Shihab, 31 and Zakir, 28. They are residents of different
villages of Bapta and Rajapur unions of the upazila.

     On a tip-off, a team of police conducted the drive in Jorkhal Machghat
area of the union around 10pm and arrested six gamblers along with Taka
31,000 and gambling equipment while they were gambling, police sources said.

     Inspector of the Ilisha police investigation center Anisur Rahman
confirmed the matter this afternoon.

     A case was filed in this connection, he added.
