NARAIL, Sept 22, 2021 (BSS) - A court here today sentenced a woman to
life-term imprisonment for trading drugs in the district in 2015.

     The court also fined accused Rikta Parvin, 45, a resident of Laskarpur
village in Auria union of Narail sadar upazila, Taka 10,000, in default, to
suffer one more year in jail.

     District and Session Judge Munshi Md Moshier Rahman pronounced the
verdict in presence of her.

     Public Prosecutor of Narail Judge Court Md. Emdadul Islam said the judge
acquitted three accused of the case as the allegation against them was not
proved.
