RANGPUR, Sept 21, 2021 (BSS) - The total number of the first dose
recipient citizens of Covid-19 vaccine rose to 26,26,370 so far with the
inoculation of 49,339 more citizens with the first dose of the jab today in
Rangpur division.

     "Among the 49,339 new first dose recipient citizens, 49,084 were
inoculated with the Sinopharm Covid-19 vaccine and 255 citizens with the
AstraZeneca Covid-19 vaccine today," Divisional Director (Health) Dr Md
Motaharul Islam told BSS at 7:50 pm.

     The first dose recipient 26,26,370 citizens include 8,99,478 people
vaccinated with the AstraZeneca Covid-19 jab, 15,95,982 people with the
Sinopharm Covid-19 jab and 1,30,910 others with the Moderna Covid-19 vaccine.

     Meanwhile, the number of the second dose of the Covid-19 vaccine
recipient citizens rose to 15,41,739 with inoculation of more 29,037 people
with the second dose of the jab today in the division.

     Among the 29,037 new second dose recipient citizens, 351 were inoculated
with the Moderna Covid-19 vaccine, 83 citizens with AstraZeneca Covid-19
vaccine and 28,603 others with Sinopharm Covid-19 vaccine today.

     "The total second dose recipient 15,41,739 citizens include 5,38,639
people vaccinated with the AstraZeneca Covid-19 jab, 8,82,120 people with the
Sinopharm Covid-19 jab and 1,20,980 others with the Moderna Covid-19 vaccine
in the division," Dr Islam said.
