BHOLA, March 13,  2024 (BSS) - A  mobile court in a drive here realised Taka   three  lakh as fine from the owners  of  three   brick kilns   for   manufacturing bricks  without permission of the Department of Environment   and various other irregularities  in Charfashion upazila  of the district today.

Sources concerned said the joint mobile court, led by   executive magistrate   of  District Environment Department  Sultana Saleha Sumi and  Assistant Director of the District Environment Department  Md. Tota Miah, conducted the drive and fined  M/S Jamuna Bricks in Ghosh's Hat area Taka one lakh, M/S Padma Bricks-2,  of Char Nurul Amin area Taka  one lakh and Tetulia Bricks of the same area Taka one   lakh   this afternoon.

Members of the law enforcement agencies assisted in the operation team.

The mobile court has sealed off the three illegal brick kilns, Assistant Director of the District Environment Department Md. Tota Miah said.
