CHUADANGA, Sep 15, 2021 (BSS) - Selling of Pushti Rice was inaugurated in Alamdanga upazila of the district today under Food Friendly Programme.

   Deputy Commissioner Nazrul Islam inaugurated the programme at a function at Dowki Union of the upazila this afternoon. The price of
the per kg rice is Taka 10. A buyer could buy 30-kg Pushti Rice.

   Upazila Nirbahi Officer Rony Alam Nur chaired the function where Upazila Chairman Ayub Hossain, District AL leader Riazul Islam Joarder Toton and District Food Controller Rezaul Islam were present, among others.

   As many as 5,245 people could buy this Pushti Rice.
