SIRAJGANJ, Feb 1, 2024 (BSS) - A woman and her daughter were killed as a passenger bus hit a CNG run auto rickshaw in Shahjadpur upazila of the district today. 
 
The deceased were identified as Mitu Sutradhor, 30, and her daughter Ichchamoni Sutradhor, 7. They were the residents of Kadaimadla village in upazila.
 
Officer-in-Charge of Hatikumrul Highway Thana M A Wadud said the accident occurred at around 11am in Madla area on Sirajganj-Pabna Highway. Mitu Sutradhor died on the spot while Ichchamoni breathed her last on the way to a hospital. 
 
Six others were injured in the accident.
