RAJSHAHI, Jan 17, 2024 (BSS) - Members of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) in an
anti-crime drive recovered five kilograms of heroin in an abandoned condition
in the district last midnight, the RAB sources said this morning.
 
Acting on a tip-off, a team of the elite force conducted a raid in a secluded
place in Bogogachhi village under Godagari upazila around 1:30 am and
recovered the contraband heroin, said Commanding Officer of RAB-5 Lt Col
Munim Ferdous,.
 
 A case was recorded with Godagari Police Station in this connection and the
seized goods were handed over to the police.
