SAVER, Dec 7, 2023 (BSS) - Two people were killed and one other was injured as a bus of 'Selfie Paribahan' crushed them at Dhamrai bus stand on the outskirts of the capital Dhaka in the morning.

The deceased were identified as Md Rubel Parvej, 40, hailed from Mirzapur Thana in Tangail district and Md Abdul Mannan, 42, resident in Shivalaya Upazila in Manikganj district. Rubel Parvej was a former student of Jahangirnagar University. He was waiting there for a bus.

The injured person was brought to Shaheed Suhrawardy Medical College Hospital in Dhaka.

In another accident a man was killed as a covered van crushed his motorcycle in front of Saver Highway Thana on Dhaka-Aricha Highway, said Officer-in-Charge of Saver Highway Thana Sheikh Abu Hasan.

The deceased was identified Md Ismail Hossain, 17, hailed from Brahmanbaria district. Another one injured in this accident who was sent to Enam Medical College and Hospital for treatment.
