NATORE, Dec 3, 2023 (BSS) - A total of 50 wheelchairs and seven tricycle were

distributed among the disabled people here today on the occasion of the
International Day of Persons with disabilities.

To mark the day, a function was held on the premises of Rani Bhabani Rajbari
of the district with Deputy Commissioner Abu Naser Bhuiyan in the chair.

The function was addressed, among others, by Civil Surgeon Dr Muhammad
Moshiur Rahman, Additional Deputy Commissioner Md Masudur Rahman, Sadar
Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) Sarmina Sattar, Deputy Director of District
Social Services Department Md Mostafizur Rahman and District Disability
Affairs Officer Vakta Prasad Saha.

A procession paraded different streets in the town to mark the day.
