RAJSHAHI, Sept 24, 2023 (BSS)-The Rajshahi Metropolitan Police (RMP) has added a smart food carrier van for supplying food to its members for the first time in its 31-year history.

RMP Commissioner Biplob Bijoy Talukder accompanied by Additional Commissioner Hemayetul Islam and Deputy Commissioner Saifuddin Shaheen launched the van at its police lines today.

From now on, on-duty RMP people at different posts will get fresh and hygienic food through the smart carrier van that will boost their level of confidence.

RMP Commissioner Biplob Bijoy Talukder also said they will launch a smart kitchen very soon for cooking food in a hygienic atmosphere.    

He also said they are giving highest emphasis on keeping the sound health of all their members and supplying fresh and hygienic food to them is very important.

"We are trying to bring modernization in other essential services to infuse dynamism in our activities," he added.
