CHAPAINAWABGANJ, Sept 01, 2021 (BSS) - Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) arrested an alleged drug peddler with 1.84 kg of heroin from Ranihati Bazar under Shibganj upazila in Chapainawabganj district this afternoon.

The arrested p is Md. Sumon Islam, 23 of Radhakantapur village under Chatrajitpur union of Shibganj upazila in Chapainawabganj district.

RAB said, acting on secret information, an operation team of RAB-5 from Chapainawabganj camp conducted a raid at the aforesaid area at 12-45 pm and arrested Sumon with the heroin.

Later, Sumon was handed over to the police of Shibganj thana with a case.
