MYMENSINGH, Aug 28, 2021 (BSS) – The State Minister for Housing and Public Works Sharif Ahmed here today said responsible journalism could bring the country to the light.

He urged journalists to focus on the ongoing development activities of the government under the dynamic leadership of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.

Sharif Ahmed said this while inaugurating a training workshop for the journalists at Mymensingh Press Club auditorium this morning.

“Development journalism always works in favor of the country’s development,” the state minister said.

Deputy Commissioner Enamul Haque, Vice President of the Press Club AZM Emamuddin Mukta, its General Secretary Babul Hossain, Dr Mohammod Nurulla and Mir Golam Mostofa were present on the occasion while Director of the Department of Mass Communication Md Toyob attended it as a resource person.

A total of 54 journalists from print and electronic media took part in the workshop.
