CHANDPUR, June 14, 2023 (BSS) - An electrician died after being electrocuted at Monihar village under Sadar Upazila today.

The deceased was identified as Delowar Hossain, 40, hailed from Devpur village in the Upazila.

Local people said Delowar Hossain was electrocuted this noon while he was working at a newly constructed building in the village. He was rushed to Chandpur General Hospital, where the duty doctors declared him dead.

Residential Medical Officer of the hospital Asibul Ahosan Hasib said the body was taken to the morgue for postmortem. Officer-in-Charge of Chandpur Sadar Model Thana Muhammad Abdur Rashid confirmed.
