Three people die unnaturally in Joypurhat 

JOYPURHAT, June 10, 2023 (BSS) - Police recovered bodies of three people from Akkelpur and Kalai upazilas of the district today.

Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Akkelpur Police Station Abu Bakar Siddique said the bodies of a husband and his wife were found hanging with a saree in Paschimpara village of Aladipur in Gopinathpur union.

The deceased were identified as Suhail Rana, 40, and his wife Parul Bibi, 38. They are residents of Paschimpara village of Aladipur in Gopinathpur union of the upazila.

Gopinathpur Union Parishad (UP) Chairman Habibur Rahman said, "There may be family conflicts between them." 

Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Akkelpur Police Station Abu Bakar Siddique said that work is underway to dig out the cause of their death.

Meanwhile, the body of a farmer was recovered from Akandapara area of Kalai upazila this morning. The deceased was identified as Sharifuddin Akand, 50, resident of the area.    
According to the police and locals, a man named Shamsuddin Akand alias Kina Akand, 50, had electrified around mango, jackfruit, pineapple, litchi and banana trees in his yard with GI wires so that no one could steal the fruits.

Neighbor Sharifuddin Akand went to Shamsuddin's house this morning. At that time, he got electrocuted and died on the spot, Kalai Thana Police Inspector (Investigation) Anwar Hossain said.
