BHOLA, May 30, 2023 (BSS) - A motorcyclist was killed in a road accident in Chawkbazar area of Jinnagar union under Charfashion upazila of the district today.

The deceased was identified as Md Shaheen, 23, son of Md. Aminul Islam, resident of Ward No. 8 of Jinnagar union of the upazila.

Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Charfashion Police Station Md. Murad Hossain told BSS that Shaheen was going to bkash office by motorcycle from his home, on the way, he lost control over the bike and fell on the roadside around 9am and was seriously injured.

Locals rescued him and took him to the Upazila Health Complex.

Later, he was sent to Barishal Sher-E-Bangla Medical College and Hospital in a critical condition for better treatment, but he died on the way, he said.

A case was filed in this connection, the OC added.
