CHATTOGRAM, May 21, 2023 (BSS)- Chattogram Metropolitan Police (CMP) arrested
13 gamblers, in a drive, in Sholoshahar rail station area under Panchliash
thana in the city on Saturday night.

Nazim Uddin, officer-in-charge (OC) of Panchliash thana, told journalists
that the raid was carried out at 12 am midnight on Saturday.

During the drive, materials including playing cards used for gambling and
Taka 5,730 were recovered from their possession, the OC added.

Regular cases have been filed against them with Panchliash thana.

They have been sent to court after being shown arrested, he added.
