TUNGIPARA, Gopalganj, May 5, 2023 (BSS) - Newly elected executive committee of Ishwardi Press Club today paid rich tributes to Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman at Tungipara in Gopalganj.

Members of Ishwardi Press committee led by its President Mostak Ahmed Kiran and General Secretary Abdul Baten placed a floral wreath at the mausoleum of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman at Tungipara today.

Vice-presidents Mahabubul Haque Dulu and Abdul Mannan Tipu, Joint General Secretaries Shafiul Alam Biswas, Salim Sardar and Mahidul Islam, Organizing Secretary Ataur Rahman Bablu and other leaders of the committee were present.

After laying the wreath, the Ishwardi Press Club leaders stood in solemn silence for some time as a mark of profound respect to the memory of Bangabandhu, the architect of Bangladesh's Independence.

A special Doa, seeking eternal peace of Bangabandhu and other martyrs of the August 15 carnage as well as martyrs of the War of Liberation, was also offered.

Ishwardi Press Club President Mostak Ahmed Kiran and General Secretary Abdul Baten and other leaders of the committee signed the visitors' book there.
