LAKSHMIPUR, Aug 17, 2021 (BSS) – A human chain was formed by the Swechhasebok League in the town today protesting the series bomb blast carried out by outlawed organization Jammatul Mujahedin JMB  across the country on the day in 2005.

Nuruddin Chowdhury Nayan, MP, spoke at the human chain as the chief guest held in front of  press club this afternoon.

With Swechhasebok League President Md Belayet Hossain in the chair, the human chain was addressed, among others, by it’s General Secretary Mahbub Imtiaz, Cultural Secretary of Lakshmipur chapter AL Mozammel Haider Bhuiyan, Jubo League leader Syed Ahmed Patowari, Secha Sebok League leader Mukter Shah and Masudur Rahman.

On August 17 in 2005, JMB men blasted around 500 bombs at 300 locations in 63 districts out of 64.
