RAJSHAHI, March 20, 2023 (BSS) - A total of 20 officers and members of
Rajshahi Metropolitan Police (RMP) were given honours as recognition for good
performance in Rajshahi metropolis.
 
They were accorded the honor in a monthly crime review meeting held at RMP
police line conference hall here today with Commissioner Anisur Rahman in the
chair.
 
In the review meeting, various issues related to law and order situation,
expediting the community and bit policing activities, carrying out of arrest
warrant and progress of the important cases were discussed elaborately.

Speaking on the occasion, Commissioner Anisur Rahman urged his subordinate
colleagues to discharge their respective duties with utmost sincerity and
honesty to attain trust and confidence of the peace loving public in general.

He also asked all the police stations, detective branch, traffic division and
city special branch to keep the law order situation normal.
 
Commissioner Rahman, however, said that today's honour will encourage and
inspire other RMP members to do better performance.
 
Additional Commissioners Faruque Hossain, Bijoy Basak and Samsun Naher and
Deputy Commissioner Saifuddin Shaheen also addressed the meeting.
