CHAPAINAWABGANJ, March 20, 2023 (BSS)-Members of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) arrested two alleged drug peddlers with 13.5-kg of hemp from Nachole in the  district last night. 

The arrested persons were identified as Md Mortuza Alam, 43 of Shahbajpur Hajarbighi under Shibganj upazila and Md Ahad Babu, 33 of Chanpara Baganbari under Nachole upazila in Chapainawabganj district. 

RAB said, acting on detective information, an operation team of RAB-5 from Chapainawabganj camp conducted a raid in Chanpara Baganbari area under Nachole upazila in the district at around 11-50 pm and arrested the duo with the hemp.

Later, the arrested persons were handed over to the police of Nachole thana with a case, the sources added.
