PIROJPUR, March 19, 2023 (BSS) - A woman was killed and her husband and

daughter were injured in a road accident in Pikebari Mour area on Pirojpur-
Najirpur road under Sadar upazila here today.

The deceased was identified as Najnin Akter, 25, hailed from Brahmankati
village under the upazila.

Local people said the accident occurred when a passengers' bus crushed a
motorcycle in the area around 9:30 am, leaving the rider and other two
persons, who were on boarding the bike, critically injured.

Najnin died on way to the Pirojpur Sadar Hospital. Her husband Alamgir
Mollah, 42, and daughter Nafia, 3, were admitted to the hospital.

Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Sadar Thana AZM Masuduzzaman confirmed the matter.
He said they have seized the bus.
