KUSHTIA, March 16, 2023 (BSS) – A total of 15 heifers were distributed among fishermen in Kumarkhali upazila of the district today under Hilsa Development and Management Project.
 
On the occasion, a function was held on the premises of the upazila Parishad this morning.

 Barrister Selim Altaf George, MP, was present at the function as the chief guest with Upazila Nirbahi Officer Bitan Kumar Mandal in the chair.
 
Zilla Fisheries Officer Nependranath Biswas and Vice Chairman Sidur Rahman were present, among others.
