GOPALGANJ, March 12, 2023 (BSS) - A motorcyclist died as a train hit his motorcycle in Naldanga area of Sadar upazila here today.

The deceased was identified as Badol Biswas, 36, hailed from Dalnia village under the upazila. He was a teacher at Guadhana Silna Bindu Bashini High School.

Inspector Somnath Basu of Rajbari Railway Thana said a train named ‘Tungipara Express’ hit the motorcycle in the morning, leaving Badol Biswas dead on the spot.

The body was sent to Gopalganj Sadar Hospital for postmortem.
