SATKHIRA, March 1, 2023 (BSS) - The National Insurance Day-2023 was observed

today in the district like elsewhere across the country to enhance public
awareness about the insurance.

This year's theme of the day is "My Life, My Wealth, If Insured, It Will Be
Safe (Amar Jibon, Amar Sampad, Bima Koriley, Thakbe Nirapod)".

On the occasion, Finance Ministry and the Insurance Development and
Regulatory Authority (IDRA) jointly organised various programme in the
country.

Marking the day, a colourful rally was brought out from the New Market area
and ended at the District Commissioner's office after parading different
streets of the city.

Later, district administration and Satkhira Jiban Bima Corporation jointly
organised a discussion at the conference room of the Deputy Commissioner (DC)
office this afternoon.

Deputy Commissioner (DC) Mohammad Humayun Kabir attended the meeting as the
chief guest with Additional Deputy Commissioner (General) Sheikh Moinul Islam
Moin in the chair.

Officials of local government bodies, civil society members, employees of
different Insurance Companies participated in the rally.
