CHAPAINAWABGANJ, Feb 13, 2023 (BSS) - Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) arrested

an alleged drug peddler with 96 kgs of hemp from sadar upazila in the
district yesterday evening.

The arrested person was Md Faisal alias Mamun, 38, of Chandrapur village
under Noakhali sadar upazila.

RAB said, an operation team of RAB-5 from Chapainawabganj camp on detective
information, conducted a raid in Mohananda Bridge toll plaza area near Zila
Shilpakala Academy at 7 pm and detained a covered van.

After searching the covered van RAB found the hemp.

Later, the elite force handed him over to the police of Chapainawabganj sadar
thana with a case, the sources added.
