BHOLA, Feb 7, 2023 (BSS) - Two people were killed in two separate accidents in the district today.

The deceased were identified as Ashraful Islam, 6, hailed from Rasulpur union under Shashibhushan Thana in Char Fasson Upazila and Md Gazi, 35, a resident at Kachuakhali village in Lalmohan Upazila.

Officer-in-Charge of Shashibhushan Thana Md Mizanur Rahman Patwari said Ashraful was crushed by an auto rickshaw at around 10 am when he was crossing road in Rasulpur area. He died on the spot. A case is being processed to be filed.

Besides, Md Gazi was electrocuted while switching on the water pump at his house this morning. He died under treatment at Lalmohan Upazila Health complex, said Officer-in-Charge of Lalmohan Thana Md Mahbubur Rahman.
