RANGPUR, Feb 3, 2023 (BSS) - Bangladesh Awami Jubo League distributed blankets among 200 cold-stricken poor and distressed people to mitigate their sufferings here on Friday marking the organisation's golden jubilee. 

    Joint General Secretary of Bangladesh Awami Jubo League Biswas Matiur Rahman Badsha distributed the blankets in a function held at the Public Library ground in the city as the chief guest. 

    Convener of Rangpur city Awami League Dr. Md. Delwar Hossain, its Joint Convener Md. Abul Kashem, Joint Convener of Rangpur district Awami League Mazed Ali Babul, Organising Secretary of Bangladesh Awami Jubo League Md. Sohel Parvez, its Assistant Secretary Monwarul Islam Masud and central committee Member Rabiul Islam Rezvi were present as special guests. 

    President of Rangpur city Jubo League ABM Sirajum Munir Basher, its General Secretary Murad Hossain, Jubo League leaders Kamruzzaman Shahin, Laksmin Chandra Das and other leaders were present. 

    Relief and Social Welfare Affairs Secretary of Bangladesh Awami Jubo League Saddam Hossain Pavel moderated the function.
