TANGAIL, Feb 2, 2023 (BSS) - Police, disguising themselves, arrested two
alleged drug peddlers from Kalihati municipality area of the district today.

The detainees were identified as Monirul Islam Monir, 35, hailed from Ghatail
upazila and Sumon Bhuiyan, 32, an inhabitant of Gopalpur upazila.

Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Kalihati Thana Molla Azizur Rahman said, on
information, a team of the police disguised themselves in Silimpur Chatipara
area this noon and nabbed Monir and Sumon with 150 pieces of the contraband
yaba tablets.

A case is being processed to file.
