MANIKGANJ, Jan 30, 2023 (BSS) – Valiant Freedom Fighter and elderly politician Advocate Azharul Islam Arzu died of kidney desease last night at his residence in Manikganj town.

He was 69, family sources said.

He left behind his wife, two daughters and a son and a number of well wishers to mourn his death.

Advocate Azharul Islam was the central committee member of Communist Party of Bangladesh (CPB).

His first namaz-e-janaza was held on Manikganj Government Debendra College Playground. His co-fighters, government officials and the leaders of other political parties took part in the janaza. The second namaz-e-janaza was held at his village Basudebpur. He was buried at the family graveyard with state honour in the evening.
