BOGURA, Jan 27, 2023 (BSS) - Police in a drive held two drug traders with eight-kgs of ganja from Shibganj Upazila of the district last night.

The detainees were identified as Yusub Ali, 33, and Abu Kalam, 35. Both are the residents of Lalmonirhat district.

In-charge of Mokamtola police camp Ashik Iqbal said on information police intercepted a bus at Moradpur on Rangpur-Bogura Highway last night (Thursday night). After searching the bus police held Yusub and Abu Kalam with the ganja, he added.

The duo was sent to jail after filing a case under the Narcotics Control Act today.
