JHENAIDAH, Dec 14, 2022 (BSS) - Two siblings drowned in a pond at Kushbaria

village under Sadar upazila of the district today.

The deceased were identified as Kafin, 8, and Shafin, 6, son of Shipon
Munshi. They were the residents of the village.

Locals said the incident occurred this noon when they were playing on the
bank of the pond close to their house.

Kafin and Shafin were taken to Jhenaidah Sadar Hospital where the duty doctor
declared them dead.

Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Sadar Thana Sheikh Sohel Rana expressed his sadness
at the incident.
