DHAKA, July 7, 2026 (BSS) - Palli Karma-Sahayak Foundation (PKSF) and the South Asian Network on Economic Modeling (SANEM) today signed a research agreement to assess the quality of employment generated through PKSF's various development interventions and formulate strategies for creating more productive and decent jobs.
The agreement was signed at PKSF Bhaban-1 in the city as part of a joint research initiative aimed at generating deeper insights into employment outcomes under PKSF's programmes, said a press release.
The signing ceremony was attended by PKSF Managing Director Md Fazlul Kader, SANEM Chairman Dr Bazlul Haque Khondker, and senior officials from both organisations.
The research initiative follows a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed between PKSF and SANEM on April 19, 2026.
Under the agreement, the study will evaluate the nature and quality of employment created through PKSF's various programmes. The findings are expected to help identify practical measures for promoting more relevant, productive and decent employment opportunities in the future.
The initiative is expected to support evidence-based policymaking and strengthen efforts to improve employment outcomes through PKSF's development programmes.
