During the B2B matchmaking session organized as part of the fair, members of the Dhaka Chamber delegation had the opportunity to exchange business and investment-related information with around 150 Chinese supplier companies.

Speaking at a bilateral discussion on supply chain issues held on the sidelines of the fair, Razeev H. Chowdhury stated that Bangladesh and China share a long-standing multidimensional partnership encompassing trade, investment, infrastructure, education, and human resource development.

He mentioned that total bilateral trade between Bangladesh and China stood at US$18.89 billion in FY2025, with Bangladesh’s imports and exports amounting to $18.20 billion and $694.49 million respectively.

He also invited Chinese entrepreneurs to invest in Bangladesh’s various sectors like textiles and textile products, machinery, chemicals, metals, plastics, minerals, and agro-based products.

During the exchange meeting, Nicole Fan, Director of Poly Jinhan Exhibition (Poly Events), said that the fair would play an important role in building a bridge between entrepreneurs of China and Bangladesh.
