DHAKA, April 5, 2026 (BSS) - Inflow of remittances witnessed a year-on-year
growth of 425.3 percent reaching US$339 million in the first four days of
April, according to the latest data of Bangladesh Bank (BB) issued here
today.
Last year, during the same period, the country's remittance inflow was $65
million.
During the July to April 5, 2026 of the current fiscal year, expatriates sent
remittances of $26,548 million, which was $21,850 million during the same
period of the previous fiscal year.
