DHAKA, March 15, 2026 (BSS) - Inflow of remittances witnessed a year-on-year
growth of 35.7 percent reaching US$2,205 million in the first 14 days of
March, according to the latest data of Bangladesh Bank (BB) issued here
today.
Last year, during the same period, the country's remittance inflow was $1,625
million.
During the July to March 14, 2026 of the current fiscal year, expatriates
sent remittances of $24,658 million, which was $20,114 million during the
same period of the previous fiscal year, it added.
