DHAKA, March 8, 2026 (BSS) - Inflow of remittances witnessed a year-on-year 
growth of 37.9 percent reaching US$1,069 million in the first seven days of 
March, according to the latest data of Bangladesh Bank (BB) issued here today.
 
Last year, during the same period, the country's remittance inflow was $775 million.
 
During the July to March 7, 2026 of the current fiscal year, expatriates sent 
remittances of $23,523 million, which was $19,264 million during the same 
period of the previous fiscal year.
