CHATTOGRAM, Feb 10, 2026 (BSS) – The Chattogram Port Authority (CPA) has launched an automated and coordinated service delivery system to make the export-import process faster, simpler, and more transparent.
From now on, all services typically required by users for export-import, NBR, customs, and seaports can be accessed through a single digital platform called ‘CPA Sky’.
While inaugurating the new integrated service system, CPA Chairman Rear Admiral SM Moniruzzaman said that tasks involved in completing pre-export procedures and pre-delivery processes for import cargo can now be done within half an hour, compared to the previous five days under the manual system.
“No port user or their representatives will need to go desk-to-desk to complete the work required for exporting cargo or the paperwork needed for taking delivery of import cargo,” he added.
The CPA Chairman formally inaugurated the system this afternoon at the CPA Board Room in Bandar Bhavan in the presence of senior port officials.
He further noted that cargo delivery and shipment will be much faster, while the cost of availing services will be significantly reduced, in addition to shortening the turnaround time of vessels, with the introduction of the CPA Sky system.
They expressed hope that the system will also enhance transparency, increase digitalized port operations, and improve the international image of the country’s premier seaport.
