ICSB organises training on AI

DHAKA, June 22, 2025 (BSS) - Institute of Chartered Secretaries of Bangladesh (ICSB) offered training on 'Learning Use of Artificial Intelligence (Al) Technology to improve professional capacity of its members.

The training event was held on Saturday at ICSB office in the city, said a press release.

Sheikh Azizul Haque FCS, Chairman of Dhaka Regional Chapter (DRC) Sub Committee and Coordinator of the training programme introduced the resource persons and outlined the objectives of the training. 

M. Naseemul Hye FCS, President of ICSB, chaired the training session, welcomed and thanked everyone for attending such a time-befitting training. 

Kazi Md. Miraj Hossain FCS, Member Secretary of DRC, moderated the programme.

Mohammad Shafiqul Islam Bhuiyan FCS, Senior Vice President; A.K.M. Mushfiqur Rahman FCS, Vice President; Mohammad Abdullah Al Mamun FCS, Treasurer; Mohammad Sanaullah FCS, Former President and Council Member; M Nurul Alam FCS, Former Senior Vice President and Council Member of ICSB spoke at the event. 

They thanked DRC for organizing such an important and forward-looking event.

The speakers emphasized that this training marks the beginning of a series of technical sessions aimed at equipping Chartered Secretaries with advanced-level skills, particularly in AI-driven insights that are crucial for professional growth. 

They further highlighted that to remain competitive in the global arena, mastering artificial intelligence is no longer optional but essential.

Fahmidul Alam, Learning Consultant of Netcom Learning Global Limited, focused on the fundamentals of Artificial Intelligence (AI), where he introduced participants to the core principles of AI, its various applications, and its transformative potential across industries. 

He emphasized the importance of mastering AI to stay competitive in an ever-evolving digital landscape. 

He also highlighted the economic impact of AI, demonstrating how AI is revolutionizing sectors like finance, healthcare, research and manufacturing. 

He shared real-world examples of AI's transformative power, showing how it drives growth, reduces costs, and enhances business outcomes.

Md. Imdadul Islam Imdad, Senior Business Development Manager of Netcom Learning Global Limited, focused on hands-on AI training specifically designed for Chartered Secretaries. 

He demonstrated how to integrate AI into daily operations, enhancing efficiency and simplifying tasks. 

Imdadul guided participants through practical uses of different AI tools, explaining how they can automate repetitive tasks, assist in data analysis and help create professional documents more quickly.

Imdad also introduced the concept of prompt engineering, emphasizing how creating clear, structured prompts can improve interactions with AI systems and generate more accurate results. 

In addition to demonstrating the ease of using AI models, he trained participants on using AI tools to assess and plan their career trajectories.

A good number of ICSB members attended the training programme. Finally, President of ICSB M Naseemul Hye FCS handed over the certificates to the participants.

He hoped that this comprehensive training programme marked a significant step in empowering professionals to leverage AI for future success.
