DHAKA, June 22, 2025 (BSS) - PKSF is set to introduce new dimensions to its areas and scope of work, and operational approaches to accelerate the journey towards inclusive growth in Bangladesh.
This strategic shift aims to fulfill the diverse needs of people in alignment with the country's socio-economic progress, technological advancements, and evolving poverty landscape, thereby strengthening the national economy.
To this end, a draft of the 'PKSF Strategic Plan (2025-2030)' was presented today at a meeting held at the PKSF Bhaban in Agargaon in the city, before the members of PKSF's General Body and Governing Body, said a press release.
PKSF Chairman Zakir Ahmed Khan chaired the meeting while Managing Director Md Fazlul Kader delivered the welcome speech.
The meeting was informed that PKSF, since inception, has been implementing various programs based on prevalent needs of the poor people. Over time, this apex development agency has successfully implemented new programs and projects in response to the evolving demands at the grassroots.
The quality, effectiveness, and results of these activities have earned PKSF recognitions both at home and abroad. However, PKSF believes that the prevailing socio-economic, technological, and poverty situation warrants new dimensions in its operations. It is to this end that the formulation of the 'PKSF Strategic Plan (2025-2030)' has been initiated.
Dr AKM Nuruzzaman, general manager of PKSF, presented the draft strategic plan.
Earlier on 17 June, a special view-exchange meeting titled 'PKSF Strategy 2030' was held at PKSF Bhaban. There, distinguished economists and development experts reviewed the draft strategic plan. They lauded PKSF's overall activities and provided various suggestions regarding the draft plan.
Speakers at the meeting expressed hope that once implemented, the 'PKSF Strategic Plan (2025-2030)' will further accelerate the pace of inclusive growth in the country by ensuring sustainable development for the disadvantaged and low-income people. The strategic plan is expected to be approved on 29 June.
