DHAKA, Sept 23, 2021 (BSS) - Parliamentary Standing Committee on the Ministry of Finance today discussed on the ‘Bangladesh House Building Finance Corporation (Amendment) Bill 2021’.
 
The committee also discussed ‘Bankers' Book Evidence Bill, 2021’ and the effectiveness and utilization of incentive funds provided by the Prime Minister in trade and industry to address the pandemic Covid-19 crisis.
 
The committee made the discussion at the 6th meeting of the committee held at Jatiya Sangsad Bhaban here with Committee Chairman Abul Hasan Mahmud Ali.
 
 Committee members – Finance Minister AHM Mustafa Kamal, Md Abdus Shahid, Mustafizur Rahaman Chowdhury, Kazi Nabil Ahmed, Abul Kalam Md Ahsanul Haque Chowdhury, Ahmed Firoz Kabir, Rana Mohammad Sohel and Md Harun or Rashid, among others, attended the meeting.
 
The Bangladesh House Building Finance Corporation (Amendment) Bill 2021’ and the Bankers’ Book Evidence Bill, 2021 ' were decided to be discussed at the next meeting for further scrutiny and necessary amendments.
