NARAIL, March 14, 2023 (BSS) -Jute seed distribution programme was inaugurated in Sadar upazila here today.

Deputy Commissioner Mohammad Habibur Rahman inaugurated the programme in a function held at Shahabad Union Parishad Hall Room this morning.

With upazila nirbahi officer Sadia Islam in the chair, the function was addressed, among others, by Deputy Director of Department of Agricultural Extension Dipak Kumar Rai, Assistant Commissioner Sanjoy Ghosh, Agriculture Officer Md Rakonuzzaman and Shahabad Union Parishad Chairman Ziaul Zia.

As many as 6000 farmers in Sadar Upazila will get Tosha jute seed at free of cost under the programme.
