63 travel agencies served show-cause notices for violating hajj policy
DHAKA, Sept 24, 2018 (BSS) – The Religious Affairs Ministry has served
show-cause notices to 63 travel agencies for violating the National hajj and
Umrah policy.
Assistant secretary of the Religious Affairs Ministry Abdullah Arif said,
“A total of 63 travel agencies have been served show-cause notices on
September 23. The authorities asked these agencies to give their explanations
within seven days.”
Actions will be taken against these travel agencies, if they fail to give
satisfactory answer, Abdullah Arif said.
A total of 1,13,437 hajj pilgrims have returned home by 332 hajj flights –
– 172 Saudi Arabian Airlines and 150 Biman Bangladesh Airlines till September
22.
