DHAKA, June 15, 2021 (BSS)- Awami Jubo League today inaugurated its countrywide tree plantation campaign responding to the call of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.
Organization Chairman Sheikh Fazle Shams Parash and General Secretary Mainul Hossain Khan Nikhil inaugurated the campaign by planting a sapling on Kurmitola High School ground.
Sheikh Fazle Shams Parash urged the leaders and workers of Jubo League at all levels across the country to plant at least a fruit-bearing, forest and medicinal sapling responding to the call of the premier.
Tree not only gives us nutrition but also brings economic progress, he said.
Jubo League Presidium Member Advocate Mamunur Rashid, Organizing Secretaries Kazi Md Mazharul Islam and Saifur Rahman Sohag, Publicity Secretary Joydeb Nandee, Office Secretary Md Mostafizur Rahman Masud, Deputy Office Secretary Md Delwar Hossain Shahjada, Dhaka City Jubo League North acting President Zakir Hossain Babul and General Secretary Md Ismail Hossain were present on the occasion among others.
