RAJSHAHI, May 18, 2021 (BSS) – A total of 3,88,972 people received the second dose of COVID-19 vaccines in the city and eight districts of Rajshahi division since the nationwide second dose vaccination began on April 8.
Of them, 5,999 people including 2,390 females took the second jab today, Dr Habibul Ahsan Talukder, Divisional Director of Health services, told BSS today.
He said 530 including 228 females received vaccines in Rajshahi city and 1,148 people including 388 females in Rajshahi district, 893 including 387 females in Chapainawabganj, 301 including 124 females in Natore and 671 people including 257 females in Naogaon have got the vaccines today.
Apart from this, a total of 738 persons including 329 females got vaccines in Pabna, 690 including 288 females in Sirajganj, 688 including 273 females in Bogra and 340 including 116 females in Joypurhat today received the vaccines, he added.
