300 rounds of cartridges recovered from listed accused residence in Ctg
CHATTOGRAM, April 13, 2021 (BSS)- Members of Chattogram district police, in a drive, recovered 300 rounds of cartridges from a residence of a listed accused in Uzirpur area of Jangalkhain union under Patiya upazila of the district on Tuesday morning
The ammunition recovered from a residence of one Jasim Uddin, a top listed accused of Patiya thana, but police failed to arrest him.
Reazaul Karim, officer-in-charge (OC) of Patiya thana, told BSS that a raid was carried out at Jasim’s house to nab him as several cases against him were pending in different police stations in the district.
“He was not found at that time. However, 300 rounds of ammunition were recovered from his house and a case is under process with the Patiya Police Station in this connection,” he added.
