FIELD DAY-MEHERPUR
Field Day on potato entries held in Meherpur
MEHERPUR, March 5, 2021 (BSS) – A farmer’s Field Day on Multi-location
yield trial of potato entries was held at Shishu Paribar Pranggon in the town
today.
State Minister for Public Administration Farhad Hossain joined the
programme as the chief guest.
Bangladesh Agricultural Development Corporation (BADC) organised the event
with the assistance of Seed Potato Department, Meherpur.
With Dr Mohammed Monsur Alam Khan in the chair, the function was
addressed, among others, by BADC Chairman Dr Amitabh Sarker, BADC official
Mostafizur Rahman, Superintendent of Police SM Murad Ali, district unit AL
Joint Secretary Advocate Ibrahim Shahin and potato farmer AZM Marufuzzoha
Gora.
Earlier, the minister visited the potato field in Sadar Upazila.
